FAQ

What is Koopser?
Koopser is a personal sourcing service. We find and purchase specific products from UK retailers on your behalf and deliver them to you in Uganda. There is no product catalog. You tell us what you want, we find it, we quote you a full price, and you decide whether to proceed.
How does the process work?
Fill in the Make a Request form. Tell us the product, the brand and model if you know it, and your budget. Within 24 hours we will send you a full quote covering the product cost, shipping from the UK to Uganda, and an honest estimate of import duties. If you are happy with the quote, you pay a 70% deposit. We then purchase the item from a verified UK retailer and ship it to you. The remaining 30% is collected on delivery.
What products can you source?
Laptops and tablets, smartphones, audio equipment, kitchen appliances, personal care appliances, cameras and photography gear, home office equipment, baby and child products, and health devices. All items are sourced from genuine UK retailers such as Amazon UK, John Lewis, Currys, and Argos.
We do not source standalone lithium batteries, liquids, aerosols, perfumes, food, clothing, shoes, items over 20kg, or counterfeit goods.
What is the minimum order?
Our minimum order value is UGX 230,000 (approximately £50). Below this amount, international shipping makes the total price unworkable for both parties.
How much does delivery cost and how long does it take?
Delivery cost is included in your quote. We ship via DHL or an equivalent international courier. Delivery typically takes 5 to 10 working days from the date we dispatch your item. You will receive a tracking number via WhatsApp or email once your order has shipped.
What about import duties?
All items imported into Uganda are subject to Uganda Revenue Authority import duties. We include an honest estimate of these duties in your quote before you pay anything. The final amount is set by URA at clearance and may vary slightly from the estimate. We will always flag this clearly so there are no surprises.
Do I need a UK plug adapter?
No. All appliances we source from the UK use the Type G plug and run on 220–240V — the same voltage and plug standard used in Uganda. No adapter or converter needed.
How do I pay?
We use PesaPal for all payments. PesaPal accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, MTN Mobile Money, and Airtel Money. You pay at least 70% upfront as a deposit. The remaining 30% is collected on delivery. All payments are made via a secure PesaPal invoice sent to you by Koopser — you do not pay through the website.
Is my payment secure?
Yes. PesaPal is a regulated payment provider operating across East Africa. Your card and mobile money details are processed securely through their platform.
What if there is a problem with my order?
If your item arrives damaged or is not what was quoted, contact us within 48 hours of delivery via WhatsApp or email. Every order we place is from a verified UK retailer with a receipt. We will work with you to resolve it.
